Production process

By owning our factory, we know Earthfoam doesn’t contain any fillers or synthetic latex.

The collection facility removes water from the sap and sends it to the foam factory. To bond liquid rubber molecules into plush foam, we mix it with a small amount of sulfur, zinc oxide, accelerators, and antioxidants. This mixture is placed in a mould and baked to form foam. After being produced, blocks of foam are washed thoroughly to remove impurities. Plus, making our foam in the same place it’s harvested has reduced energy and transportation costs and allowed us to have a greater impact on our workers, who all earn a living wage.
